Meaningful education is essential to creating compassionate, high-quality care environments. The focus is not simply on delivering training, but on fostering engaging learning cultures that support continuous growth, reflection, and collaboration across teams.
Our approach begins with understanding each organization’s unique strengths, challenges, and existing educational practices. Through assessment, collaboration, and the application of evidence-informed best practices, we work alongside teams to enhance and strengthen current learning environments while identifying opportunities for innovation and sustainable development.
Grounded in empathy and relationship-centered care, our educational philosophy encourages learners and leaders to better understand the experiences and perspectives of older adults, families, and colleagues. By creating interactive, meaningful, and engaging learning experiences, we aim to support not only knowledge development, but also connection, confidence, teamwork,
Using creative strategies such as simulation, experiential learning, serious educational games, reflective practice, and emerging technologies including AI, we support organizations in building dynamic education programs that inspire engagement, improve practice, and contribute to positive outcomes for both staff and those they care for.

About
Our founder, Kiira Poerschke, is an accomplished Gerontologist and Interprofessional Educator. She began her career in geriatrics as a Recreation Therapist, earning an Honours Bachelor of Recreation Therapy from the University of Waterloo and a Master's in Gerontology from Charles Sturt University.
With more than twenty-five years of experience across long-term care, community, and retirement settings, our team is guided by Kiira's broad perspective, shaped through living and working in Canada, Australia, and Thailand. These experiences provided invaluable insight into the diverse needs, cultures, and lived experiences of older adults across different healthcare systems and communities.
We combine expertise in healthy aging, adult learning, project management, and healthcare to create practical, evidence-informed solutions that empower older adults to age with confidence, equip families to navigate important decisions, and strengthen the organizations and professionals who support them.
